N.C. Gov. Perdue Visits Greenhouse 5 at Research Triangle Park
Tuesday, October 16, 2012
We were honored to host North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue on her recent visit to Greenhouse 5, our newest research and development facility. Gov. Perdue took a tour of the greenhouse then spent some time visiting with Research Triangle Park site leadership and Greenhouse 5 staff.
“Bayer CropScience is a major employer in North Carolina, and this new greenhouse is one more example of the company’s commitment to our great state,” said Gov. Perdue. “Increasing the biotechnology industry in our state is one of my strategies to help our economy thrive, and Bayer CropScience is a great partner in those efforts.”
In use since July 2012, this state-of-the-art facility will help us cultivate solutions to increase agricultural productivity and help meet the world’s food demands. Watch the virtual tour video to learn more about Greenhouse 5!
