#EatYourVeggies – A Series From Your Favorite Ag Bloggers

As summer vegetables begin to harvest, we want to remind our readers of the importance of a nutritious diet. As a new mother, providing a healthy diet for my child is always on my mind. Sometimes the discussion of conventional versus organic produce gets in the way of the importance of eating fruits and vegetables … period. And with people presenting various viewpoints, it is good to remember the more important message, #EatYourVeggies.

While National Eat Your Veggies Day was last week, Bayer CropScience believes this practice should be recognized every day! We understand it can be difficult to include fruits and veggies as you plan meals for your family, so we asked some of our favorite bloggers to share their favorite recipes, how they make feeding their kids veggies “fun,” and things to consider when shopping in the produce aisle.

The blog series kicks off with a post from Emily Webel. We will continue to share more interesting posts from featured guests throughout the rest of the summer. So be on the lookout and join the conversation by mentioning #EatYourVeggies and following @Bayer4CropsUS on Twitter!

Now, checkout this heartfelt story from Emily and how her vegetable growing, 100-year-old grandmother has influenced her on the topic: http://webelfamilyfarm.blogspot.com/2014/06/eatyourveggies.html

You can find the #EatYourVeggies movement popping up seemingly everywhere! But here’s where Bayer CropScience is pushing this message:
