Potato Expo Spudman and Bayer Cropscience collaborate

By: Nasser Dean, Stakeholder Relations Manager, Bayer CropScience

After working his way from sweeping the farm floors as a six-year-old to becoming president of the 18,000-acre Heartland Farm, Jeremie Pavelski is no rookie to the potato industry. The 31-year-old, generational family farmer of Arkdale, Wis. is the winner of this year’s Spudman Emerging Leader Award, which Bayer CropScience sponsors to recognize a leader’s commitment to enhancing the potato industry.

These young leaders in the potato community will help strengthen the future of the business, and Bayer CropScience welcomes the opportunity to work alongside these leaders to create innovative approaches to advance the industry and shape the future of potatoes.
