By 2050, there will be 9 billion people living on this planet, and less farmland and resources to provide safe, nutritious food for everyone.  So how can we feed our growing population?

At Bayer CropScience, we are committed to developing long-term ideas and strategies to help solve this challenge, while helping younger generations learn more about sustainable agriculture and science innovation. That is why Bayer CropScience, in collaboration with Future Farmers Network, has chosen 100 young thought leaders to attend this year’s Youth Ag Summit on August 24th-28th, 2015 in Canberra Australia.

We are happy to announce that Edward Silva, Isha Jog, Katelyn Mann, and Beverly Flatt will be representing the United States as the 2015 delegates. Under the theme “Feeding a Hungry Planet,” these thought leaders will engage in constructive, forward-looking dialogue about opportunities and solutions in farming to help solve this challenge of feeding 9 billion people by 2050.

Congratulations, delegates! I look forward to travelling with you to Australia this summer!
