Potatoes being harvested #Thankful4Ag

By Jeff Donald

If there were an easy way to feed hungry families, would you do it?

Kanasas-based Chef Alli posed this question to viewers to introduce the #Thankful4Ag campaign during her “Farm Fresh Kitchen” segment on news station WIBW in Topeka. Before the segment, Chef Alli encouraged anchor Chris Fisher to take the “What kind of farmer are you?” quiz on Thankful4Ag.com and, using his result as a “spud-tacular Idaho potato grower,” served up some spud-inspired recipes for her viewers.

Check out Chef Alli’s segment on her Farm Fresh Kitchen blog for the scoop on the delicious recipes she prepares while highlighting how consumers can get involved with #Thankful4Ag to help feed the 48 million Americans struggling with food insecurity.

Then, visit www.Thankful4Ag.com to discover what kind of crop you were born to grow and to help us, in partnership with Feeding America®, fight hunger.
