State University’s Talley Student Center Ballroom. The half-day event was the first TEDx event to take place on a UNC-system campus. TED began in 1984 as a gathering place for innovators and leaders in the fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design, and 26 years later, it has become a nexus for a global community of individuals who believe in the power of Ideas Worth Spreading.
