Bayer CropScience Supports Conference For Innovation And Inspiration

RALEIGH, N.C. – Bayer CropScience (, one of the world’s top innovative crop science companies in the areas of crop protection, non-agricultural pest control, seeds and traits, has announced that it sponsored the TEDx NCSU conference that was held by the College of Engineering and University Sustainability Office and Center for Innovation Management Studies on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in N.C. State University’s Talley Student Center Ballroom. The half-day event was the first TEDx event to take place on a UNC-system campus. TED began in 1984 as a gathering place for innovators and leaders in the fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design, and 26 years later, it has become a nexus for a global community of individuals who believe in the power of Ideas Worth Spreading.
