Bayer CropScience Hosts The National FFA Organization Officers

Crop Science Company Continues Support Of Youth Organization
FFA student visit to Bayer CropScience

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (April 20, 2011) — Bayer CropScience, one of the world’s top innovative crop science companies in the areas of crop protection, non-agricultural pest control, seeds and traits, hosted two of the National FFA Organization’s officers on April 19 during their visit to Research Triangle Park (RTP). James Flatt, southern region vice president, and Tiffany Rogers, eastern region vice president, visited Bayer CropScience RTP headquarters for tours and discussions with several of Bayer’s developing leaders. Following their visit to Bayer CropScience, the officers and several supporting companies met at NC State University to discuss the activities of the National FFA Organization and how local companies’ support helps to advance the FFA mission.

The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Flatt attends Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, and Rogers attends Michigan State University in Lansing. Both are majoring in agricultural business.
