On June 24, 2020, Bayer announced a series of agreements that will substantially resolve major outstanding legacy Monsanto litigation, including the U.S. Roundup® product liability litigation. When finalized, the Roundup® agreement will bring closure to the vast majority of the current Roundup® product liability claims, while also establishing a strong framework to resolve the remainder of the litigation. Bayer also announced agreements to resolve the Dicamba drift litigation and most of the company’s PCB water litigation.
Importantly, we want to emphasize our continued commitment to Roundup® and XtendiMax™ as two essential tools in your operations. We continue to proudly stand behind the safety and utility of these products, and our commitment to offer them to you.
The decision to resolve these cases was driven by our desire to bring value to customers like you and the ag marketplace. We recognize the important benefits our future products bring to you and other farmers around the world to help produce enough food to meet the needs of a growing global population.
