Insect Resistance Management Program for TwinLink® Plus and TwinLink Cotton
With proper planning, producers can slow the rate at which resistance develops. Doing so is the goal of Insect Resistance Management (IRM) programs and comprises a critical component of the stewardship of TwinLink® Plus and TwinLink technology. IRM strategies vary due to region-specific differences in plant and animal biology, environmental and farming conditions, as well as public and producer concerns.
Prior to planting TwinLink Plus and TwinLink cotton seed, growers must read and sign the Bayer Grower Technology Agreement. Doing so confirms that they will read and comply with requirements and recommendations detailed in the IRM Guide and the Trait and Technology Use Manual.
