Judy Speas is the vice president for Development North America for Crop Science, a Division of Bayer.
As vice president, Development North America at Crop Science, Judy oversees the product safety evaluation of our new and existing portfolio and the development of new crop protection solutions, as well as the technical support for our marketing and sales organization, customers and co-operators.
Judy has extensive experience in both the worlds of Crop Protection and Seeds & Traits having worked in many leadership and technical positions within the US and global organizations over the span of her 25+ year career. She also developed a good appreciation of the North American market from her time leading the NA Project Management team. Most recently, she worked in Monheim, Germany as Management Support for the Global Head of Development, during which time she has built her global network.
Judy received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was awarded a Morehead Scholarship. She has continued her education in strategic marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Judy grew up in North Carolina and currently lives in Durham with her husband.
