Farmers Count on Asgrow® Brand XtendFlex® Soybeans for Consistent Yield and Weed Control Performance
When farmers select soybean products to plant each season, high yield potential and effective weed control are among their top considerations. Consistent performance for both criteria continues to drive preference for Asgrow® brand XtendFlex® soybeans.
With their exclusive genetics, developed through Bayer Crop Science’s industry-leading breeding program, Asgrow XtendFlex soybean seed varieties help farmers maximize yield potential and return on investment, season after season.
Asgrow genetics are bred to promote specific characteristics, such as excellent emergence, early-season vigor and robust pod development. Defensive agronomics help protect against the top soybean diseases, including white mold, Phytophthora, brown stem rot and iron deficiency chlorosis. All new products are developed and extensively tested to meet local and regional growing conditions.
Premium seed treatment also plays a key role in helping to give Asgrow soybeans a strong start to each new growing season. All products are offered with innovative Acceleron® Seed Applied Solutions that protect against early-to-midseason diseases caused by Pythium, early-season Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium.
This soybean seed treatment provides an exclusive combination of fungicides that can help produce more rapid and increased seedling emergence under certain cold conditions. The Acceleron® Solutions offering also protects against damaging insect pests, such as bean leaf beetles, early-season soybean aphids and seed corn maggots.
Dependable Weed Management
Farmers who plant Asgrow XtendFlex soybean seed products can be confident of excellent weed management.
The XtendFlex soybean trait is built on the proven high-yielding Roundup Ready® 2 Xtend Technology that farmers know and trust. It offers farmers application flexibility in managing tough-to-control weeds, pre- or post-emergence, including waterhemp, Palmer amaranth and marestail.
Soon to be released, Bayer’s new fourth-generation soybean trait package, HT4,1 will provide farmers who plant Asgrow XtendFlex products even more flexibility when it comes to weed management, including a stronger defense against resistant weeds. HT4 technology provides tolerance to five herbicides — adding 2,4-D and mesotrione, an HPPD inhibitor, to the glyphosate, glufosinate and dicamba tolerance currently provided with XtendFlex Technology.
