Ricestar HT is a postemergence rice herbicide that provides excellent grass control with tankmix flexibility. Ricestar HT controls many major grassy weeds, including sprangletop, barnyardgrass, broadleaf signalgrass, fall panicum and more.Note: Ricestar HT has no soil residual activity, so annual grasses may reinfest the field if conditions are favorable for continued germination.

Use and Mixing

The instructions for use and mixing described below are from the Environmental Protection Agency approved Federal Label. Always read and follow label instructions. Not all products are registered for use in every state.       Reentry PPE
      PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil, or water, is: coveralls; waterproof gloves; shoes plus socks.
      PPE
      PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) Some materials that are chemical-resistant to this product are listed below. If you want more options, follow the instructions for category G on an EPA chemical resistance category selection chart. Applicators and other handlers must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants, protective eyewear, shoes and socks. Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
      Tankmix Compatibility
      MIXING INSTRUCTIONS Fill the spray tank half full with water while the agitator is running. Add the recommended amount of Ricestar HT Herbicide followed by the appropriate amount of the tank mix component (if used). Then add the remaining amount of water. Tankmix Recommendation For broad spectrum weed control, Ricestar HT Herbicide may be tankmixed with other herbicides. Refer to the tankmix partner list that identifies potential mixture partners. Apply tankmixes with Ricestar HT Herbicide before the annual grasses have passed the 3 leaf stage of growth. Do not tankmix Ricestar HT Herbicide with any other product when the grasses have exceeded the 3 leaf stage. When tankmixing, follow the directions for use on the label of the mixing partner. Tankmix Partners Product: Aim (TM) Herbicide, Basagran (R) Herbicide, Bolero (R) 8EC Herbicide, Command 3ME Herbicide, Facet (R) 75 DF Herbicide, Londax (R) Herbicide, Permit (R) Herbicide, Prowl (R) 3.3 EC Herbicide, Storm (R) Herbicide, Whip (R) 360 Herbicide When tankmixing Ricestar HT Herbicide and Whip (R) 360 Herbicide do not exceed a combined total of 17 fl. oz/A per application or a combined total of 30 fl. oz/A per crop year. Do not apply when the weed grasses are drought stressed as their control will be reduced. Increase pressure and volume of spray for thorough coverage when weed grasses are dense.
