How does Velum One work?
The active ingredient in Velum One, Fluopyram, is classified as a Group 7 fungicide. Velum One is applied via drip irrigation through the roots and then moves upward in the plant to the leaves. This process not only suppresses nematodes and increases root health below ground, but also provides protection throughout the plant to combat key diseases and maximize yield potential.

How do I apply Velum One?
Application for Velum One depends on the crop.
- For brassicas, strawberry, tomato, melon, squash, eggplant/pepper and cucurbits: apply via chemigation into root-zone through low-pressure drip, trickle, micro-sprinkler or equivalent equipment.
- For tree nuts, citrus, pome and stone fruit: apply specified dosage by chemigation into root-zone through low-pressure drip, trickle, micro-sprinkler or equivalent equipment. For optimum results, apply to newly planted trees or those previously trained to drip, trickle or micro-sprinkler irrigation. Soil must be lightly pre-wetted to break soil surface tension prior to application.
Velum One is compatible with most commonly used fungicide, herbicide, insecticide, and foliar nutrient products. However, the compatibility of Velum One with all potential tank-mix partners has not been fully investigated. Before applying any tank-mixture not specified on this label, safety to target crops should be confirmed on a small portion of the crop to be treated to ensure an adverse response will not occur.
