Gray leaf spot risk is moderate to high within much of the Corn Belt, except for the northern-most states.

Conditions in the southern regions remain moderately to highly favorable for this disease. Areas in orange, a fungicide application is recommended on susceptible hybrids if the field is around the tassel stage. Areas in yellow, scout susceptible hybrids. If lesions are found one leaf below the earleaf & the field is around tassel, a fungicide application is recommended on susceptible hybrids. Risk is higher in no-till & c/c situations.
