If there are flowers within the middle of the canopy in late-planted soybeans, conditions are moderately to highly favorable for this disease in the Great Lakes region. Scout fields that still have flowers, looking for sclerotia and apothecia. For the most part, a fungicide will not have a positive ROI at this time. If sclerotia and apothecia are found, consult with an agronomist.
