Scout early for wheat diseases
January 14, 2016
MOST of the winter wheat crop in Nebraska was planted on time and is off to a good start. While there were some cases of stripe rust in the Panhandle in the fall, where it oversummered on some volunteer wheat that wasn't controlled, there wasn't any cause for concern or a need to apply fungicide.
