This year, Commodity Classic was full of celebrations — from honoring our 2019 National Wheat Yield Contest winners to breaking the record of having the highest number of farmers registered in the show’s 24-year history (4,678).

We had a blast learning from and speaking with industry experts, farmers, agronomists and seed suppliers from across the globe about the future of farming and what it takes to win the season.

And the show wasn’t the only thing breaking records. Colorado farmer Marc Arnusch had one of his best seasons to date. He had an outstanding yield of over 210 bu/A, which won him a trip to San Antonio.

“We had historic yield records broken on our farm,” Marc said. “We grew wheat that we didn't think was possible. We've got to continue to be good stewards of the land, to be the producers we are and continue to push the production envelope forward.”

Alongside Marc, we celebrated 13 of our WestBred farmers for their award-winning season.
