Because On Demand™ is a truly automated system, a number of fully automated features are in place designed to keep On Demand running smoothly, minimizing any potential downtime and helping to ensure continued precise, efficient application of seed treatment products.


Alerts

On Demand™ sends a number of automated alerts should an element of the system need attention. These include:

  • Load Scales (at rack location #) failing
  • Load Scales (at rack location #) not set to zero during calibration process
  • Seed wheel motor failing
  • Drum motor failing
  • Pump (at rack location #) failing
  • LAN communications failing (sent via mobile)

Transactions

Maintaining inventory is automatic with On Demand™. Automated alerts notify you about:

  • New inventory
  • Replenishment orders
  • Seed treatment forecasts
  • Seed treatment batch information

Bayer Partner B2B Interface

On Demand™ offers state-of-the art, two-way communication with treating facilities. The unique B2B Interface features automated support, service notifications, remote preventative maintenance and more. On Demand sends a number of automated alerts should an element of the system need attention. These include:

  • Advance shipment notifications
  • Demand planning based on seed treatment forecasts
  • Seed treatment batch information converted to seed company invoice (will convert to electronic in future release)
  • Business Object Dashboards to support internal Bayer functions such as:
    • Supply Chain
    • Equipment efficiencies
    • Equipment services

Software Updates

The On Demand™ system just keeps getting better. Annual software updates, new recipes, stewardship updates and hardware changes will download automatically, ensuring that On Demand will remain the most advanced seed treatment application equipment on the market.

Additional updates include:

  • Break fix (patch)
  • New releases
  • System maintenance announcements
